# A Vancouver park afternoon, then pack-out

A community table in a Vancouver lakeside park needs a folding canopy for one summer afternoon.

The table is booked on a Vanier Park lawn. The mountain is not in the shot. You get trees, grass, and a slice of water. The program runs from noon to four.

The job is summer park shade. One canopy for a community table. Volunteers will open it. Parks staff will want the legs off the irrigation heads. The set leaves with the last brochure.

Vancouver can be bright and still turn a shower at three. A roof that sheds water is enough. Walls are extra weight in the car. Stakes must come out of lawn without a brown scar.
